New Stand-Up Show — “No Negativity”
On 17 November, Garik Oganisyan takes the stage at Big Belly Comedy Club in London with his brand-new solo stand-up show, “No Negativity”.
One of the most distinctive voices on today’s Russian-language comedy scene, Garik is bringing completely new material to London — turning familiar everyday situations into something far more absurd than they seemed just five minutes ago.
Garik is a resident comedian at Stand-Up Club #1, host of the popular YouTube show “Poraraz Biratsa”, and a regular contributor to projects including “Razgony”, “Book Club”, “The Smartest Comedian”, “Stand-Up Comedians”, and “Stand-Up Underground”. His previous solo shows include “Life Is the Best Playwright”, “Life Is the Worst Playwright”, and “Here and There”.
And now comes “No Negativity”.
In his new show, Garik explores life, relationships, emigration and the strange absurdities hidden in everyday routines. Sharp observations, self-deprecating humour, unexpected conclusions and his unique ability to find comedy in situations the rest of us simply accept as normal.
This is stand-up best experienced live: brand-new jokes, the spontaneous energy of the audience and the atmosphere of a real comedy club that no phone screen can recreate.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT GARIK*
Few people realise that Garik Oganisyan was actually the fifth member of The Beatles. However, due to his natural modesty, he decided to remain in the shadows and let his more publicity-hungry colleagues enjoy the international fame.
He later wrote songs for Scorpions and Army of Lovers, founded his own golf club in Miami and, at some point in his life, tried a mango.
The last fact has been particularly thoroughly verified.
